Our Story

The story of PJF starts with a feeling of gratitude and a strong urge to make a difference. Founder Ravi Sharma who, always extended a helping hand in the studies of needy families that came into his contact, felt an urge to improve nation’s education system in a more organized manner and under a proper forum. Consequently Prama Jyoti Foundation was formed and registered as a Trust in September 2009.

Since its inception nine years ago, PJF have adopted schools and upgraded those in an organized way to bring them at par with any other good school of the country. Apart from this they are running improvement classes for English speaking and other soft skills in government schools to enhance the confidence of these children and prepare them for higher studies and job market.

Believing strongly that appreciation is a tool which brings out the best amongst all human beings, PJF gives out several excellence awards for deserving students and individuals to motivate them and inspire others to follow their example.
